These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by OFF MAP INDIA JOURNEYS PRIVATE LIMITED (“OFFMAP”, “we”, “our”, “us”) through offmap.in and our official communication channels.

These Terms apply to all products and services offered by OFFMAP, including but not limited to:

• Group Trips & Fixed Departures
• Customized Travel & Tailor-Made Itineraries
• Retreats (Art, Yoga, Wellness, etc.)
• Workshops & Courses
• Adventure Activities & Nature Experiences
• Homestay & Offbeat Stay Collaborations
• All experiences or services listed on or communicated through offmap.in

By booking, registering, or participating in any OFFMAP service, you agree to these Terms.

1. BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS & CONFIRMATION

1.1 Booking Deposit (Fixed 30%)

A non-refundable 30% booking deposit is required to confirm any OFFMAP service.

This applies to all offerings: trips, retreats, workshops, courses, stays, and customised travel.

1.2 Final Payment

The remaining 70% must be paid:

• Trips & Experiences: before the trip start date
• Retreats/Workshops/Courses: minimum 7 days before arrival/start
• Custom Travel Packages: as per invoice, but always before travel begins

If the balance is not paid on time, the booking will be cancelled automatically, and the 30% deposit will be forfeited.

1.3 Accepted Payment Methods

Domestic (India): UPI, Bank Transfer, Razorpay, Instamojo

International: Stripe, Wise, PayPal (processing fee applicable)

1.4 Currency

Payments may be made in INR / USD / EUR.

Conversion charges, gateway fees, and foreign exchange differences must be borne by the guest.

1.5 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when:

• The 30% deposit has been received
• OFFMAP issues written confirmation via Email/WhatsApp

2. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

2.1 Cancellation by Guest

• More than 30 days before start date:Refund after deducting a 10% processing fee
• 15–30 days before start date:50% refund of the total package amount
• Less than 15 days before start date:No refund
• No-show or Early Departure:No refund

2.2 Cancellation by OFFMAP

OFFMAP may cancel or postpone services due to:

• Natural calamities (floods, landslides, storms, earthquakes)
• Extreme weather or road closures
• Government orders, restrictions, permits, or regulations
• Political unrest, curfews, safety concerns
• Unforeseen operational issues
• Minimum group size not met

In such cases, guests may choose between:

 Full refund, OR

 Free rescheduling to any future batch/date (subject to availability)

OFFMAP is not responsible for losses related to:

• Flight tickets
• Hotel bookings outside the package
• Visa fees
• Other third-party expenses

3. RESCHEDULING, TRANSFERS & CHANGES

3.1 Rescheduling by the Guest

• Allowed only if requested 15+ days before start
• Subject to availability
• Requests within 15 days attract a 10% rescheduling fee

3.2 Transfer of Booking

Guests may transfer their booking to another person:

• Free of charge
• Must be done at least 7 days before the start date

3.3 Itinerary Modifications

OFFMAP may alter itineraries if required due to:

• Weather
• Safety
• Operational reasons
• Local authority instructions

Such changes do not qualify for refunds.

4. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1 Documentation

Guests must carry:

• Valid government ID
• Travel insurance (mandatory for international guests; recommended for all)
• Permits where applicable (OFFMAP will assist in arranging these)

4.2 Medical Fitness

By participating, guests confirm they:

• Are physically and mentally fit for the experience
• Have disclosed relevant medical conditions
• Understand certain activities require physical capability

OFFMAP is not liable for injuries or issues arising from undisclosed health conditions.

4.3 Conduct

Guests must:

• Respect local communities, cultures, and environments
• Follow leader instructions and safety protocols
• Behave responsibly and ethically
• Not participate in illegal activities or behavior that endangers others

Guests violating conduct rules may be removed without refund.

5. ADVENTURE RISK & SAFETY WAIVER

OFFMAP experiences may involve natural and adventure-related risks such as:

• Trekking, hiking, camping
• High-altitude travel
• Wildlife areas
• Paragliding, rafting, outdoor sports
• Rural roads and remote locations

By participating, you voluntarily acknowledge these risks and agree that OFFMAP is not liable for:

• Injuries
• Accidents
• Medical emergencies
• Altitude sickness
• Loss or damage due to natural terrain or personal negligence

OFFMAP follows all safety guidelines but cannot eliminate inherent risks.

6. ACCOMMODATION, TRANSPORT & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

6.1 Accommodation

OFFMAP curates unique stays across destinations. Specific rooms or stays may vary depending on:

• Seasonal availability
• Operational needs
• Local conditions

Comparable alternatives will be provided when required.

6.2 Third-Party Vendors

Certain services (transport, stays, adventure activities) are operated by third parties.

OFFMAP is not responsible for:

• Delays
• Quality issues
• Cancellations
• Accidents or misconduct by external vendors

7. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

OFFMAP is not liable for:

• Loss
• Theft
• Damage
• Misplaced items
• Equipment failure

Guests are responsible for their own belongings.

8. FORCE MAJEURE (As Required by Indian Law)

OFFMAP will not be liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Epidemics & pandemics
• War, terrorism, civil disturbance
• Government restrictions & regulations
• Road closures
• Strikes or labour disputes
• Transportation shutdowns
• Acts of God

In such situations, OFFMAP may offer rescheduling, but not compensation.

9. MEDIA RIGHTS & CONSENT

By joining any OFFMAP experience, you grant OFFMAP permission to use:

• Photos
• Videos
• Testimonials

In:

• Social media
• Marketing
• Promotions
• Website content

If you wish to opt out, inform us in writing before the experience begins.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, designs, itineraries, blueprints, images, branding, and material displayed on OFFMAP platforms belong to OFF MAP INDIA JOURNEYS PRIVATE LIMITED.

Reproduction, copying, reselling, or unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

11. PRIVACY POLICY (Summary)

We may collect personal data such as:

• Contact details
• IDs
• Travel preferences
• Emergency contacts
• Payment information

We use this data strictly to:

• Process bookings
• Provide services
• Improve operations

We do not sell personal data.

12. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, unless otherwise required by law.

Privacy Policy

By accessing and using the website and services of OFFMAP Travel, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use the services. These terms were last updated: December 3, 2025.​

Bookings and Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and company confirmation. A non-refundable deposit of up to 50% of the total tour cost is required to confirm a booking, with the balance due no later than 60 days before the tour start date. For bookings made within 60 days of the tour start, full payment is required at the time of booking.​

Cancellations and Refunds

In case of cancellation by you: more than 60 days before the tour start – loss of deposit; 30-60 days – 50% of total tour cost; less than 30 days – 100% of total tour cost. The company reserves the right to cancel tours due to low participant numbers or unforeseen circumstances, offering full refund or transfer to another tour. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.​

Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers must ensure valid passports, visas, and appropriate travel insurance, and disclose any medical conditions or dietary requirements. Travelers must follow guide instructions and respect local customs. The company reserves the right to refuse service to travelers endangering others’ safety.​

Limitation of Liability and Intellectual Property

The company acts as an intermediary for service providers and is not liable for injuries, losses, or delays. All website content is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without permission. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Delhi, India.​
